We are seeking a skilled Backup and Recovery Administrator to provide advanced-level support for backup and recovery operations, ensuring adherence to contractual SLA requirements. The role requires 24x7 coverage for real-time remediations, troubleshooting, and proactive support to maintain optimal system performance. Candidates should possess expertise in backup product management, networking, and system administration with proficiency in tools like Commvault.

Required Skills and Expertise:

Networking:

Proficient in networking concepts and troubleshooting.

Operating Systems:

Advanced knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.

Backup & Recovery Tools:

Hands-on experience with backup and recovery software (preferably Commvault).

Database Backups:

Proficient in SQL Backups and beginner to proficient knowledge in Oracle Backups.

Cloud Fundamentals:

Basic to proficient understanding of cloud computing concepts.

Hyperconverged Infrastructure:

Expertise in backups for VMware, Hyper-V, and Nutanix AHV.

Hardware and Compute:

Strong understanding of hardware and compute systems.
