Financial Control Units were established in Ericsson to be the prime guarantors of financial information, compliance, governance and risk management for all companies assigned. They also support and add value to the business by providing expert accounting, treasury and tax advice, and by securing compliant solutions for complex business transactions from a legal entity perspective.
We are looking now for a new Company Controlling Specialist within Financial Control Europe.
The company controlling specialist will be responsible and accountable:
• for the accuracy and timeliness of the statutory financial statement and performance of company controlling activities.
• to ensure high quality in accounting, assure compliance to internal and external financial reporting requirements, tax legislation and to provide expert financial advice to the business.
The key responsibilities and main activities are performed in close cooperation with Tax Management and Treasury units for the respective countries.
You will:
Ensure compliance/control & process alignment
Perform company controlling activities for the assigned entities (mainly related to compliance in financial reporting)
Ensure accuracy of balance sheet and income statement together with CC and Tax management by managing timely period end closing
Ensure a well-documented bridge between accounting records in ERP system and statutory and tax reporting
Support in preparation of IFRS reporting and related bridge between statutory reporting
Support in information preparation for board of directors, including Legal Entity Governance packages
Support in statutory and FIRE audits
Monitor precision in Transfer Pricing and initiate corrective actions; proper implementation and follow up on group instructions
Provide accounting advice to operational units and other areas
Ensure legal entity risk management
Preparation of applicable SOX controls
Secure the Ericsson Operational Model is properly followed
Involvement in investment/divestment of entities in the group. When mergers and acquisition projects are observed, the involvement could be in both due diligence and integration stages.

Experience in IFRS reporting
5-7 years experience in finance accounting and reporting.
