Position Summary:
Under direct supervision, administer compensation programs and provide general support to Human Resource representatives regarding compensation issues or requests. Support the Compensation team on a variety of annual projects including compensation program design, merit and incentive cycle and compensation integration for mergers and acquisitions

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The below is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organization and the overall business objectives of the organization

Responsible for day-to-day administration of compensation plans and policy documentationCompletes third party market and salary survey submissions; manages internal survey libraryAnalyzes internal and external salary and wage data, completes job evaluations, and recommends pay ranges and job titles in accordance with established company structure and guidelinesCompletes total compensation and base pay increase proposal reviews to ensure alignment with company policies, guidelines, internal and external competitiveness, and to ensure compliance with applicable legal and fiscal regulationsDrafts and coordinates communication of compensation messaging and announcements related to annual salary and wage planning, routine compensation analyses, and related initiativesCoordinates communication of compensation information to human resources, managers, and employeesPrepares and maintains company-wide job description records; develops and maintains job description reference libraryGenerates routine audit reports and analyzes data to ensure compliance with applicable policies. Compiles recommendations and submits to managerDesigns and maintains compensation and benefit dashboards. Assists in completing a variety of compensation and benefit data analyses, program usage and effectiveness reviewsProvides input into the design of new programs; develops associated policy and procedures documentation and other supporting communicationsMay participate in compilation of due diligence data in support of merger and acquisition initiatives

Qualifications:

Education:Bachelor’s degree with concentration in Human Resources, Business or Finance

Work Experience:1 - 3 years of human resources experience. Experience in a corporate/centralized Compensation department strongly preferredCCP or similar certification preferredExperience analyzing data to identify issues, trends, or exceptions

Knowledge and Technical Skills:Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using SUM function, setting borders, setting column width, inserting charts, using text wrap, sorting, setting headers and footers and/or print scaling)Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Word (for example: inserting headers, page breaks, page numbers and tables and/or adjusting table columns)Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfactionDemonstrated ability to manage multiple projects

Language Skills:

Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently

Work Environment:
