Compensation Analyst
Support Center - Irving

Under the direction of the Manager – Compensation the Compensation Analyst will be responsible for analyzing, maintaining, and processing compensation program elements in support of company initiatives and organizational needs. The Analyst will be accountable for competitive analysis, supporting fair pay practices, program administration and support of properly communicated compensation programs. This roll will assist in various elements of plan design to ensure external competitiveness and internal equity as we partner to attract, engage, and retain outstanding talent.

Major Activities

Conduct job analysis, evaluation, salary administration and FLSA assessments to determine appropriate salary grades, ranges, and pricing based on internal and external equity.Participate in the annual salary structure review process. Ensures salary structures remain competitive and aligned to market.Consult with HR Business Partners on moderately complex compensation issues using knowledge of Compensation, Human Resources, and internal policies.Complete survey submissions for annual and ad hoc market surveys and utilize results for salary planning, salary structures and job evaluations.Assist in the maintenance of compensation-related data including job profiles, salary structures, incentive plans, reporting and validation in Workday and other internal systems of record.Partner and provide Compensation guidance, interpretation, and recommendations to HR Business Partners.Generate ad-hoc reports, as requested, including range position, minimum wage, exemption change reports, or other compensation-related analysis.Perform weekly Compensation audits to ensure compliance with ranges and minimum wage rates.Assist with variable pay programs such as, but not limited to, Bonus, Merit and Sales Commission plans.

Minimum Education

BS, BA or graduate degree in business or a related degree or equivalent work experience. 

Minimum Special Certifications or Technical Skills

Proficient in Excel

Minimum Type of Experience the Job Requires

2 years’ experience in HR, with working knowledge of a wide range of HR practices, preferably in Compensation or an analytical environment

A high degree of accuracy, confidentiality and timeliness is required for the completion of assigned projects.Ability to work independently and assume responsibilityIdeal candidate is an analytical-minded self-starter who is eager to dive right in and make an immediate impact on the Global Total Rewards and Compensation team.Demonstrated experience with year-end Rewards processes and executing on annual merit, bonus, and other planning cycles

Certified Compensation Professional (CCP)Working knowledge of WorkdayPayfactors experience

Previous retail experience is a plus
