Job Description

Responds to routine compensation review requests. Performs job documentation, job evaluation, and other compensation activities to ensure that Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta's compensation program is fair and competitive.

Experience

2 years of experience in compensation, finance, or related field

Preferred Qualifications

Healthcare experienceWorkday experienceMarketPay experienceSHRM-CP or CCP certification

Education

Bachelor's degree in finance, human resources, business administration, or related field; or equivalent experience in lieu of degree

Job Responsibilities

Researches and responds to questions, interprets policies, and assists with review of compensation issues.Provides job offer consultations to recruiters to ensure equity and competitiveness.Maintains job descriptions, job codes, and pay structures.Reviews and approves employee transactions and transaction exceptions, and ensures compliance with related compensation guidelines, policies, and practices.Creates and/or tracks compensation-based documents like offer letters and retention agreements.Create, submit and audit EIBs in partnership with HR Technology team to upload employee data related to rate, merit plan assignment, bonus, grade changes and/or corrections.Submit to payroll teams, new job code, requests, and changes as well as off cycle bonus and incentive payouts.Completes assigned salary surveys and coordinates salary survey database updates, as well as annual maintenance and audit of job families.Completes regular compensation audits and reports.Completes job evaluations and internal equity reviews.Complete required development activities as assigned.Assists with special projects as requested.
