Compensation Analyst
The Compensation Analyst is responsible for the administration and maintenance of a competitive base compensation structure and job classification hierarchy. This role involves researching and analyzing compensation data from various sources, recommending appropriate hourly and entry-level salaried pay rates for new and existing locations throughout the region, and ensuring the implementation of industry-leading compensation policies and practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Administers and maintains a competitive base compensation structure and job classification hierarchy.Researches and analyzes compensation data from various sources to recommend appropriate pay rates and scales.Participates in external wage surveys to stay informed on market trends and adjusts compensation strategies accordingly.Supports field HR and management in developing and reviewing role profiles to ensure alignment with compensation strategies.Develops and administers the hourly wage review process, providing guidance and recommendations to field HR and operations leadership.Supports various compensation programs and processes, including annual merit increases, job evaluation, and salary structure development.Keeps informed of all applicable compensation regulations, including the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).Collaborates with other functional groups during acquisitions, conducting due diligence regarding compensation structures, incentive plans, and associated costs.Utilizes HRIS systems effectively to streamline the administration of compensation plans and improve efficiency.Recommends changes to current processes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the compensation function.Performs other duties as assigned to support the overall goals of the HR department.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, required.0-3 years of compensation experience, required.Experience in compensation programs, including annual merit processes, job evaluation, and salary structure development, preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and HRIS systems; experience with compensation management software, preferred.Knowledge of federal and state labor laws related to compensation, preferred.Our Organization has a business casual environment and focuses on teamwork, associate development, training, and continuous improvement.
