Compensation Analyst
Job Title: Compensation Business PartnerJob Description We are seeking a Compensation Business Partner to serve as a resource for HR Business Partners, recruiting teams, and business leaders. The ideal candidate will provide guidance on all compensation matters and offer consultation on job architecture and compensation philosophy development and administration. You will drive medium to large-scale projects, including compensation cycles, benchmarking, market analysis, incentive plan design, and administration. The role involves examining compensation trends, conducting in-depth analyses, and making recommendations to support business initiatives. Responsibilities + Serve as a resource for HR Business Partners, recruiting teams, and business leaders on compensation matters. + Provide consultation on job architecture and compensation philosophy development and administration. + Drive medium to large-scale projects, including compensation cycles, benchmarking, market analysis, incentive plan design, and administration. + Examine compensation trends and develop recommendations to support business initiatives. + Conduct in-depth analyses on compensation issues, such as salary compression, internal equity, and external market competitiveness. + Lead and participate in regular benchmarking processes and analyze industry data to evaluate roles and determine competitiveness of salaries and total compensation. + Research and network with other companies to stay abreast of best practices and trends in compensation. + Communicate complex information effectively to diverse audiences. + Build relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams. + Provide analysis and counsel to leaders and managers on compensation programs and initiatives. + Support the annual salary planning process, including the annual company budgeting process and the annual merit/STI cycle for the exempt population. + Develop strong cross-functional partnerships with Finance, Legal, and the broader HR team. + Support the design, change management, and communication efforts associated with compensation programs. + Prepare and present summary reports of job analysis and compensation analysis information. + Perform other related duties as assigned. Essential Skills + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams. + Knowledge of federal and state regulations governing compensation and total rewards practices such as Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and Equal Pay Act. + Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and discretion when handling sensitive compensation information. + Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. + Strong analytical skills and knowledge of compensation principles and regulations. + Ability to create meaningful presentations and reports utilizing a variety of raw data. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Administration or Finance. + Minimum of 6 years of progressive and differentiated experience in Compensation. + Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or similar certification preferred, but not required. + Experience with Payfactors preferred. + Experience with UKG preferred. Work Environment The work environment is fast-paced and requires the ability to manage multiple priorities. Collaboration with Finance, Legal, and broader HR teams is essential. This role involves handling sensitive compensation information with a high level of accuracy and discretion. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $125000.00 - $145000.00 Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Administration or Finance, preferred, but not required.Prefer a minimum of 6 years of progressive and differentiated experience in Compensation.Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or similar certification preferred, but not required.Pay Rate $125,000 - $145,000 annually.Full Benefits.
