Compensation Analyst
Job Description We are seeking a temporary Compensation professional to support our team in delivering compensation guidance and ensuring the integrity of our compensation practices. This role will evaluate jobs, review employee transactions (i.e. promotions, offers, salary increases, FLSA status changes, etc.), and provide expert advice and guidance to business leaders on compensation-related matters. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with internal policies and market standards, enabling effective talent management and organizational consistency.    - Conduct evaluations for new and existing roles to ensure accurate leveling and alignment with internal structures. - Assess and approve transactions such as promotions, offers, and salary increase requests based on company policies and market benchmarks. Working with PMs, VPs, SVPs - Support job mapping and market pricing as needed. - Ensure equity and compliance with compensation policies, guidelines, and governance standards. - Provide direct support to business leaders on compensation matters. - Support Compensation Consulting Director on compensation-related projects as needed. Skills and Requirements -Minimum of 3 or 4 years of experience in HR with a focus on compensation practices. 5+ is preferred -Familiarity with job evaluation, career framework and salary benchmarking. -Proficient in PowerPoint -Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas) but not macro-level expertise -Ability to work effectively with all levels of employees within the organization. -Strong interpersonal skills including excellent written and oral communication skills -Knowing how to use an HRIS system (Workday) -Use of market data tool such as Payfactor, CompAnalyst, MarketPay. -CCP (certified compensation professional) is a plus. -Government background STRONGLY preferred null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
