Job Description
As a Compensation Analyst, you will provide professional and technical expertise in designing and supporting compensation projects and programs, ensuring compliance with audit and regulatory requirements. You will manage and drive compensation projects, overseeing assigned areas, and performing design and analysis to meet project goals and timelines. Mentoring junior team members and ensuring smooth implementation by transferring designs to the compensation delivery department is a key aspect of this role.
ResponsibilitiesProvide professional and technical expertise in designing and supporting compensation projects and programs, ensuring compliance with audit and regulatory requirements.Manage and drive compensation projects, overseeing assigned areas, and performing design and analysis to meet project goals and timelines.Mentor junior team members and ensure smooth implementation by transferring designs to the compensation delivery department.Monitor compliance, cost, and performance of program designs.Research and analyze emerging trends, best practices, and costs, generating insights and recommending program changes to align with key stakeholders.Advise the compensation compliance and delivery team on programs, policies, and guidelines to ensure understanding and smooth implementation.Serve as the primary contact for compensation design matters, liaising with key stakeholders including IT, Finance & Payroll, Mobility, Overseas Compensation, external vendors, other entities, and Headquarters TRD to support cross-functional efficiency and alignment.Develop complex spreadsheets, perform compensation and data analytics, and gather stakeholder feedback to recommend solutions for unique business challenges.Create data models with alternative design options and cost impacts.Conduct extensive qualitative and quantitative analysis on pay structures and programs, including annual market analysis, incentive analysis, job leveling, benchmark assessment, cost/benefit analysis, compliance, pay equity, and organizational impact.Develop, audit, and maintain complex Excel reports to support data analysis. May support the delivery center on some programs.Ensure company compliance with relevant audits, laws, and regulations. Maintain current and required documentation for policies, procedures (SOPs), controls, and plans.Essential SkillsExpertise in workers' compensation, compensation program design, and compensation analysis.Experience within semiconductor manufacturing, technology manufacturing, or scientific lab manufacturing environment.Advanced Excel and MS Suite skills.Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Psychology, or related field.At least 3+ years of tenure at previous companies.Proficiency in cost analysis, compensation data, pay structure, cost impacts, and stakeholder management.Experience with audit and compliance processes.Familiarity with HRIS, recruitment, and HR systems like PeopleSoft, Workday, and Paychex.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in compensation program design and implementation.Ability to work in a start-up environment or having re-worked a company's compensation program in the past.5+ years of experience within manufacturing and multiple groups and skill sets (Tech, assemblers, engineers, HR, and corporate function compensation experience).Super user of Excel, capable of creating pivot tables, advanced formulas, manipulating large datasets, and creating dynamic dashboards.Experience working with many skill sets within semiconductor manufacturing to create pay and compensation ranges for each division.Experience writing new compensation programs for a global company.Work Environment
This is an in-office job 5 days a week, with flexibility when needed, but you will need to be on-site with the team. No personal cell phones are allowed on-site; a work cell phone will be provided. The dress code is casual business attire with closed-toed shoes. The compensation team is divided into the Design side and the Delivery side, with a total of 4 people on the Delivery side and this addition will make 3 on the Design side.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $115000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
