Description
We are offering a contract opportunity in the higher education industry, located in Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States. We are in search of a Compensation Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating job roles, maintaining Workday, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Your responsibilities will also include managing the compensation inbox, submitting salary data to external surveys, and conducting job evaluations.
Responsibilities
• Evaluating and redefining job roles and responsibilities to ensure they align with the organization's goals
• Overseeing the compensation inbox and addressing incoming requests in a timely manner
• Submitting accurate salary data to external surveys to maintain up-to-date compensation benchmarks
• Maintaining and updating salary ranges in Workday, our Human Resources Management System
• Assisting in regulatory compliance to ensure all compensation practices are in line with current laws and regulations
• Utilizing a strong analytical mindset to work effectively in ambiguous environments, especially when developing job descriptions
• Participating in project work as required, providing valuable insights and support
• Conducting thorough job evaluations to ensure roles are properly classified and compensated
• Creating or updating job descriptions as needed to clearly define role expectations and requirements
• Utilizing Workday, Office Suite, and Market Pay for efficient and effective job design and compensation administration.
Requirements • Extensive experience with Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS)
• Proficiency in handling Commision Functions
• Expertise in Rewriting Job Descriptions
• Experience in Developing Job Descriptions
• Knowledge of Job Design procedures
• Ability to carry out Job Evaluation
• Experience in Compensation Administration
• Proficiency in Compensation Analysis
• Familiarity with Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) system
• Experience with Workday Human Resource Information System (HRIS)
• Ability to perform Business Reporting tasks
