Description We are seeking a Compensation & Benefits Specialist for a short term contract employment opportunity in MIDDLETOWN, Connecticut. This role is centered around the administration of employee benefits in compliance with relevant regulations. The successful candidate will be tasked with handling claims related to disability benefits and insurance reimbursements, and will be expected to work with various HRMS systems. Responsibilities: • Oversee the administration of various employee benefit schemes such as pension, health insurance, saving plans, and bonuses. • Address employee queries and concerns regarding their benefits services in a detail oriented and timely manner. • Maintain accurate records of employee's benefits services through diligent data entry tasks. • Liaise effectively with insurance carriers and benefits brokers to resolve any arising issues. • Assist in the review and renewal of benefits schemes. • Ensure strict adherence to local, state, and federal benefits, insurance, and retirement laws. • Communicate important updates and changes in benefits policies to all staff members. • Collaborate with the HR team to compile reports, analyze data and identify trends in benefits administration. • Support the implementation of new benefits programs.
