Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Compensation & Benefits Specialist (Contract) to join our HR Compensation & Benefits department based in Grand Prairie, TX.

Primary Responsibilities:
Benefits: 45%
Assist with Administer the company health and welfare benefits ensuring compliance.
Assist with day-to-day administration on retirement plans, ensuring compliance and company match/ discretionary contribution.
Assist with Direct COBRA Administration.
Assist with Review and pay benefit vendors/ plan administrators.
Assist with technical support via ADP for QLE and updates to Benefits- Quick Links or News and Announcements
Compensation: 45%
Assist with the job evaluation process, review and approve job descriptions, establish job specifications, job classification and salary grades and conducts periodic review.
Assist with Evaluate salary adjustment, promotion and job offer salary analysis and preparation.
Leave Management: 10%
Partner with Leave Administrator to assist with leave management program.

Required:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 4+ years’ experience in HR with at least 2+ years in benefits and/or compensation
Authorized to Work in the US
Basic knowledge of HR functions within an organization
Attention to detail and good organizational skills. Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Engaged, collaborative team player with strong interpersonal and consultative skills. Ability to build relationships and gain respect at all levels of the organization, handling complex situations professionally with diplomacy and exercise sound judgment and confidentiality regarding all employee-related issues.
Effective multitasking, ability to manage multiple and simultaneous priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form in English
Superior communication skills (written/oral/ presentation), able to present clear and concise briefings and reports at all levels of an organization, both individually, within a team setting or large group.
Advanced knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel (formulas), and PowerPoint applications.
Preferred:
Experience administering Compensation & Benefits for a US Government Contractor
Prefer experience with HAY/ Mercer for job evaluations.
Experience within a controlled group structure
PHR, CEBS, SHRM-CP, CBP Certification
Experience with Defined Benefit retirement plan administration
Experience with ADP Workforce Now
Physical Requirements:

Vision: able to see and read computer screens and other electronic equipment with screens, able to read documents, reports and engineering drawings.
Hearing: able to participate in conversations in person and via teleconference or phone and to hear sounds on the production floor including safety warnings or alarms.
Speaking: able to speak in conversations and meetings, deliver information and participate in communications.
Equipment Operation (personal computer, telephone, copies, fax machine, and related office equipment and using electronic identification card to enter building floors and internal doors): able to operate most office and personal electronic equipment and some tools including production tools such as hydraulic lifts.
Carrying: able to carry documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 25lbs/11kgs.
Lifting: able to lift documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 25lbs/11kgs.
Pushing / Pulling: able to push and pull small office furniture and some equipment and tools.
Sitting: able to sit for long periods of time in meetings, working on the computer.
Squatting / Kneeling: able to squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items stored on low shelving.
Standing: able to stand for discussions in offices or on the production floor.
Travel: able to travel independently and at short notice.
Walking (include routine walking such as to a shared printer to retrieve documents): able to walk through office and production areas including uneven surfaces.
Personal Protective Equipment required: Required PPE includes, but is not limited to, Safety Shoes, Safety Glasses, Hearing Protection, Respirators/Masks, and/or Protective Gloves as required by site and/or customer site
Administrative position only PPE required: Steel-toed shoes are required for all shop floor visits, appropriate hearing/eye protection may also be required when visiting the shop floor.
Ability to work in the US without current, or future, need of visa sponsorship/work authorization is required for this position.
This position is a temporary (contract) position with no specific time period but could be extended or shortened as needed. Contractors are employed by a 3rd party vendor and placed on assignment to Airbus in America.
