Compensation Manager
Posted 02-Dec-2024 (EST) | USA | Full Time **Champion Home Builders, Inc.** **Job Description** **Job Title:** Manager, Compensation **FLSA Status:** Exempt **Prepared By:** Corporate Human Resources **Summary:** Champion is looking for a Manager, Compensation to oversee and support the overall compensation strategy for the company. This role, in partnership with the business, Finance and Human Resources will be responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and communicating new and revised compensation programs, policies and procedures to align with the company's goals and key objectives. This includes the base pay, internal equity, short- and long-term incentive plans, and regulatory compliance. Serves as an internal resource to management in the development of reward and recognition programs that attract and retain talent, encourage expected behaviors, and reward the achievement of desired business results. This position is also responsible for ensuring that company compensation programs are consistently administered in compliance with internal policies and government regulations. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** include the following. Other duties may be assigned. + Manages the development, implementation and administration of compensation programs. + Monitors the effectiveness of existing compensation practices and recommends changes that are cost-effective and consistent with compensation trends and company key objectives. + Provides guidance to Human Resources and management teams on pay decisions, ensuring internal equity and competitiveness to attract and retain new talent. + Completes market analyses for new positions, position changes, wage alignment efforts, and as requested. + Audits current compensation practices for consistency with company key objectives and compliance. + Develops creative compensation programs for specific locations and employee populations. + Able to analyze and produce data driven reports to assist in compensation decision making. + Assists with administrative of company wide incentive programs including regular audits, drafting of documentation, bonus calculations, and facilitating program in coordination with corporate Human Resources and Finance. + Oversees the participation in salary surveys and monitors salary survey data to ensure corporate compensation objectives are achieved. + Ensures compliance with federal, state and local compensation laws and regulations. **Qualifications** + Knowledge of all federal, state and local regulations and compliance requirements related to employee compensation. + Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and communicate data. + Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to use Microsoft products, including Excel. + Strong leadership and team management skills. + Excellent time management skills and ability to plan and set priorities. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. + Strong interpersonal skills in dealing with senior management. **Education and/or Experience** + Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, human resources or related field and seven years of progressively responsible experience in employee compensation **EEO Statement** Champion Home Builders is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
