Compensation Specialist – Europe

The Compensation Specialist, Europe will be a key member of the Total Rewards EMEA team and will be responsible for supporting a portfolio of countries within the EMEA region.

In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with colleagues in the region to drive operational efficiency and ensure seamless coordination of compensation topics for your countries.

The Jobholder will ideally be based in either Bratislava, Zilina or Kosice, but you will be able to split working between the Local office and remote working.


Key Responsibilities:

Be a trusted partner, working proactively and collaboratively with HR Country Heads Manage year-end compensation processes Coordinate and provide in depth and ad hoc analytical support / guidance to Business Partners and Leaders Market Data Collection and Analysis including role matching and levelling and survey data submission Act as main point of contact for new hire offer package reviews and advise as required Manage stakeholder effectively Implement global policies and programs, define and adopt Total Rewards guidelines and processes for your countries of responsibility Ensure compensation practices adhere to best practice and legislative requirements. Lead compensation initiatives relating to M&A activity Projects – be a key contributor for regional and global TR projects

Skills and Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred An additional HR qualification, e.g., World at Work GRP, is a plus Previous experience in compensation (ideally, within large matrix organization) Strong analytical and data-driven mindset with advanced excel skills Stakeholder management and strong communication and interpersonal skills Growth mindset and able to adapt well to ambiguity and fast-paced environment Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment

Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards: starting from 2800 EUR brutto /month + VAR*
