Compensation Specialist

**Adecco Permanent Recruitment** is hiring for a **Compensation Specialist** to join our client's HR team based out of their US corporate headquarters in Charlotte, NC. Our client is a global manufacturer who offers an excellent culture and benefits.
The **Compensation Specialist** will ensure that the Compensation & Benefits (C&B) group is able to drive initiatives and processes based on data insights, market practice and good judgment.
The **Compensation Specialist** will have responsibilities for the following tasks:
+ Administer a fair, equitable and competitive total compensation package that fits and is aligned to our company’s strategy and business goals
+ Maintain a consistent compensation philosophy in line with work culture and organizational objectives
+ Ensure that compensation practices are in compliance with current legislation (pay equity, human rights, etc.)
+ Use various methods and techniques and make data-based decisions on direct financial, indirect financial and nonfinancial compensations
+ Assess employees needs by conducting employee value proposition (EVP) surveys to find out what motivates and engages employees
+ Prepare job descriptions, job analysis, job evaluations and job classifications
+ Participate in salary and labor market surveys to determine prevailing pay rates and benefits
+ Develop and deploy effective communication strategies and success metrics
+ Conduct ongoing research into emerging trends, issues and best practices
+ Conduct periodic audits and prepare reports
**Required Skills & Qualification:**
+ Proven working experience as a Compensation Specialist
+ Prior experience in HR practices and compensation cycle management
+ Working knowledge of job evaluation and job analysis systems, Mercer IPE would be preferable.
+ Previous experience with employee value proposition (EVP) and labor market surveys
+ Adequate knowledge of current labor rules and regulations
+ Familiarity with various types of incentives and benefits
+ Extensive knowledge of HRIS and MS Office
+ Strong quantitative and analytical skills
+ BS degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or Finance

**Pay Details:** $65,000.00 to $79,000.00 per year
