As a Competence Engineer you are challenged by business engineering in a dynamic high-tech environment with Sate-of-the-Art cleanroom and facility. You like to help optimize and maintain the Cleanroom Services (CRS) department by working closely together with peers to ensure that the required services can be carried out efficiently and smoothly. You will be working in the sector Manufacturing Services, this sector provides all factories with supporting services that are important for a smooth production of lithography systems, new and refurbished. Within MFS SL CRS Engineering we are responsible for these processes and, where necessary, optimizing and/or implementing new ones.
Role and responsibilitiesFor your role as Competence Engineer, your main responsibilities will be:
Work closely with various departments such as CRE, factories, (internal) customers, suppliers and engineers to ensure that all services associated with CRS run efficiently and smoothly, creates and maintains work instructions according to standards applicable. Create and give knowledge transfers.
Trouble shoot issues (2nd Line support).
Create and maintain capacity forecasts. Signal financial consequences of resources (tools, facilities and manpower) due to the introduction of new products or way of workings.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives such as cycle time reduction, defect reduction, cost reductions (cleanroom clothes and gloves consumption), continuous improvement all within the scope and related to CRS services.
Education and experienceTo help us tackle the technical challenges we face, you bring in the following educational background and experience:
A Bachelor's technical and/or business degree Technical Business / Logistics / Facility Management.
Relevant experience in (improving) logistics processes.
Intermediate/advanced knowledge of VBA, Excel, SharePoint is an strong advantage.
