We are seeking a Developing Professional - Competition, Trade & Foreign Investment Counsel to join our Siemens U.S. Legal team in the NYC or Washington, DC area. This hybrid role offers a flexible working model, combining time in the office and remote work.

This position is ideal for early-career professionals with 1-5 years of experience in U.S. antitrust law and regulatory matters, looking to expand their expertise. You will advise on U.S. antitrust issues, support complex transactions, and collaborate across global M&A deals. This role provides an exciting opportunity to work on high-risk regulatory areas such as antitrust compliance, international trade, and foreign investment, contributing to Siemens' leadership in the global technology sector.

You’ll make a difference by:

Advising business teams on U.S. antitrust matters, including distribution topics, competitive intelligence practices, consortia participation, exclusivity arrangements, and compliance with the Robinson-Patman Act. Supporting global M&A transactions, including preparing Hart-Scott-Rodino (HSR) and Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) filings. Assisting in the development and implementation of antitrust-related policies and procedures. Conducting antitrust compliance training for internal teams, including sales, marketing, and business development. Collaborating with internal and external counsel on regulatory inquiries, audits, and investigations. Monitoring and analyzing changes in U.S. and global antitrust laws, and providing strategic guidance to mitigate risks. Partnering with cross-functional teams, including compliance, operations, and business leaders, to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.

Basic Qualifications:

J.D. degree from an accredited law school and licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction. 1-5 years of legal experience, with a focus on antitrust law—preferably from a law firm, regulatory agency, or in-house legal department. Strong knowledge of U.S. antitrust laws and regulations, including experience with HSR and CFIUS filings. Legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring employer-sponsored work authorization now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with regulatory agencies like the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) is a plus. Experience advising on dual distribution, consortia, exclusivity arrangements, or the Robinson-Patman Act. Familiarity with developing and delivering antitrust training. Exposure to U.S. regulatory filings and cross-border M&A transactions. Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, global environment. Strong interest in technology and innovation.

The pay range for this position is $123,830 to $254,640, with the actual wage offered depending on experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
