Competitive Intelligence Director

Duties &Responsibilities:

The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:

Develop and implement a targeted competitive intelligence strategy for the enterpriseIdentify and monitor strategy and tactics of key competitors, market trends, and emerging technologies impacting the logistics landscapeCollect and analyze data from various sources, including internal research/data, industry reports, competitor websites, financial statements, and market researchConduct in-depth analyses of competitors' strategy, capabilities, operating model, tactics, and performance metricsPrepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board of directorsUtilize advanced analytical tools and techniques to identify patterns, trends, and insightsWork closely with cross-functional teams, including technology & product, finance & marketing, and commercial strategy to integrate competitive intelligence into strategic planningCollaborate with external partners, consultants, and industry experts to enhance intelligence-gathering effortsLeverage internal analytics, data science, and finance teams to inform analysesProvide thought leadership to internal teams on competitive intelligence methodologies and best practicesIdentify and recommend targeted opportunities for portfolio focus and growthContribute to the development of long-term strategic goals and objectives for the supply chain organization

Qualifications:

Required:

10+ years of experience in competitive intelligence, supply chain management, or a related fieldStrong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and methodologiesExcellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and conciselyProven track record of developing and executing competitive intelligence strategiesBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain management, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.

Preferred:

Strong organizational and project management skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Experience in the [specific industry or sector relevant to the company].Familiarity with advanced analytical tools such as SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or similar.Knowledge of global logistics and supply chain trends, challenges, and opportunities.Professional certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM).
