Competitive Sourcing Specialist

The Procurement as a Service Team (PaaS) is responsible for all types of competitive sourcing including renewals, new products and services, existing product renewals (e.g. professional services, hardware, telecom, software, and cloud). The successful candidate will have a strategic mentality while working across our business groups to provide Fidelity the best price and terms while mitigating risk. The individual will have strong communications skills as they partner with internal partners, Fidelity leaders, and suppliers to achieve stronger scale and efficiency.

The Team

PaaS helps business units make thoughtful purchasing decisions that reduce risk and improve value for the firm. In this role you will assist associates that engage PaaS as they look to work with a new vendor or make changes to a current vendor relationship.

The person will directly, or indirectly, engage and negotiate with large and small vendors.

As a leader within a deal team, this person will collaborate with business unit product managers, contract managers, vendor managers, risk, ESG, legal, and finance to develop sourcing strategies.
