PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The Completions Turnover Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the safe and reliable operation of facilities by coordinating and directing pre-commissioning activities and testing of plant systems and equipment. This role supports the transition from construction to operation by providing technical guidance and direction to operations engineers, technicians, and client personnel. The role also involves knowledge-sharing and may include conducting client training to enhance operational readiness.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordinate and oversee pre-commissioning, commissioning, and testing activities to ensure systems and equipment meet operational requirements and safety standards. Provide technical guidance to operations teams, including engineers, technicians, and client personnel, to facilitate smooth commissioning processes. Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement commissioning strategies, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Identify and troubleshoot operational challenges, recommending solutions to enhance system performance and reliability. Ensure commissioning activities align with Worley’s commitment to delivering sustainable change and supporting clients in achieving their operational goals. Maintain thorough documentation of commissioning processes, including test procedures, reports, and findings to support continuous improvement and knowledge transfer. Support knowledge-sharing initiatives by participating in training sessions and mentoring junior team members. Engage with clients and stakeholders to align commissioning objectives with overall project goals, ensuring customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLSET

University degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent trade qualification combined with additional relevant training and experience. Strong understanding of commissioning processes, systems, and tools, with the ability to apply best practices in field operations. Proficient in troubleshooting and problem-solving, with a focus on delivering safe and efficient commissioning solutions. Experience in planning and executing commissioning activities within energy, chemicals, or resources industries. Ability to make independent technical decisions for small independent projects/studies while considering financial, social, and environmental impacts. Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences and influence stakeholders through presentations, reports, and discussions. Experience working within a team-oriented environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives. Commitment to safety, sustainability, and operational excellence in line with Worley’s purpose of delivering a more sustainable world. Proficient in relevant industry software, systems, and tools used in commissioning and pre-commissioning activities.
