What is the opportunity?

Join RBC Wealth Management and become an integral member of the Complex Management Team by serving as the primary liaison between the complex, branches and other corporate departments. As the Complex Assistant Manager (CAM), you will accelerate and drive the firm’s strategic initiatives by fostering meaningful partnerships, relationships and inclusive culture across the complex.

What will you do?

Lead a team across multiple branches.  Partner with recruiting in the staffing process and own overall hiring and training.  Drive excellence by coaching staff and enabling performances using the tools and training availableManage the Complex Operations Team and ensure all required Operations related policies are adhered to.  Enable and prepare the complex and branches in compliance inspection process and develop action plans to address any gapsAssess suitability and risk for daily sales activities. Ensure branch staff members comply with regulatory, firm, complex and branch procedures, while resolving issues as needed.Ensure new advisors are properly onboarded including overseeing the process of coordinating new clients’ paperwork, and ensure new advisors receive training on RBC’s policies and procedures; and proactively support Financial Advisors efforts to build their business and effectively service their clientsServe as a point of contact for multiple departments within RBC including Business Supervision Group, Compliance, Surveillance, and LegalPartner with the Complex Director to develop and finalize the overall budget and actively manage it to its expected results

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

7+ years of industry experience3+ years of leadership experienceDemonstrated ability to effectively influence others while building relationshipsAbility to independently manage multiple demands and competing priorities and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environmentSeries 7, 8 (or 9/10) and 66 (or 63/65) and Insurance licenses required for each state in complex

Nice-to-have

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent working experience5+ years of leadership experienceComprehensive knowledge of investment products and strategies, and understanding of the operations of a branch office
