TradeWinds Resort is seeking a Director of Programming, Partnerships, and Activations to oversee the day-to-day operations of Beach & Activities. The individual will be responsible for developing a variety of recreational programming and activities. Recreation Responsibilities:
Hire, train, and manage the Beach and Activities team.Train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all team members in the department to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met. Embrace and Lead change.Maintain visibility in the operation, engage with Guests and members, provide recognition, and promote good public relations. Able to handle concerns and complaints including special requests for Guests, Bluegreen Members, residential guests, and group contacts.Maintain a proper supply of towels, equipment, supplies, etc. needed for the beach and activities; and ensure all equipment and supplies in inventory are in a condition representative of the TradeWinds brand.
Programming and Activations Responsibilities:
Establish a programming vision and overarching strategy for TradeWinds by immersing yourself in the variety of activities, entertainment, and culinary experiences available at Island Grand and RumFish.Develop and manage a comprehensive schedule of activities, events, and entertainment that cater to a wide range of Guest interests.Design and implement attendance-driving and revenue generating programming, partnerships, and activations.Collaborate with PR and Marketing to identify and lead partnerships with local and national music, arts, design, fashion, comedy, and retail opportunities at TradeWinds to enhance Guest experience and deliver a high return on investment.Work with PR and Marketing teams to build, organize, and sustain a strategic local and national event calendar and drive event attendance.Collaborate with Food & Beverage, Recreation, Spa and Retail departments on sales opportunities as part of enhanced programming.Gather and analyze Guest feedback to continuously improve programming and address any issues in a timely manner for the "Perfect 10" Guest experience. Implement innovative technologies and trends to enhance the overall guest experience.To understand the weekly ranking on Trip Advisor. To communicate with the team the score and find ways of improving TradeWinds position on the Trip Advisor list. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in event planning, programming, or a related role within the hospitality or entertainment industry.Proven track record of developing and executing successful events and activities. Strong negotiation and partnership development skills.
