Overview Job Summary: As the Complex Wedding Sales Manager, you will be instrumental in driving revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives and building strong relationships with new and existing clients. You will also play a key role in prospecting new business opportunities to expand our client base. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in catering sales, preferably in the hospitality industry, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. Job Specifications Onsite: Black Desert Resort / Red Mountain Resort Shift & Schedule Availability: Year Round / Full Time Compensation: The budgeted range starts at $70,000 - $85,000 + incentive bonus. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors. Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Execute strategic sales plans targeting social, corporate, and special event catering segments. Prospect and generate new leads to expand the client base across various catering market segments. Cultivate and deepen client relationships, understanding unique catering requirements and preferences. Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities within the catering industry. Collaboratively work with the marketing team to develop segment-specific promotional campaigns and materials. Represent the resort at key industry events and trade shows, focusing on networking and building connections. Liaise closely with culinary and event planning teams to ensure a cohesive and seamless service delivery aligned with client expectations. Track and analyze catering sales performance, providing regular reports to the Director of Catering Sales with insights and recommendations. Guide and support the catering sales team, promoting a culture of excellence and collaborative success. Oversee contract negotiations and agreements with a keen eye on beneficial terms for the resort. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of proven catering sales experience in the hospitality industry, with a focus on diverse market segments. Strong negotiation skills and an established track record in strategic sales planning and execution. Excellent communication, presentation, and networking abilities. Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Capacity to travel as needed and adapt to flexible working hours. Compensation Range The compensation for this position is $70,000.00/Yr. - $85,000.00/Yr. based on qualifications and experience.
