Our client in the compliance industry is seeking a Compliance Generalist to join their team. As a Compliance Generalist, you will be part of the compliance department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
**Job Title:** Compliance Generalist
**Location:** Roseland, NJ - 3x/week onsite
**Contract** : 6 month contract with possible extension
**Pay Range:** DOE
**What's the Job?**
+ Support IT audits including but not limited to SOX, SOC1, SOC2, PCI, NIST and security controls testing.
+ Be actively engaged in the audit process from planning to issuance of the audit report.
+ Serve as a liaison between process owners and audit team.
+ Ensure that issues or problems are addressed and communicated appropriately in a timely manner.
+ Provide timely status reports to the project manager and Director.
**What's Needed?**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or relevant work experience.
+ 2+ years experience in information technology, information security, audit or compliance.
+ Ability to work independently and proactively to execute critical tasks, including participation in the planning, execution, administration, reporting and interaction with key management associates.
+ Ability in analyzing risk and designing efficient control practices to minimize risk.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
