Job Skills / Requirements

Sunstates Security is hiring a Compliance Administrator at the corporate headquarters located in Raleigh, NC.  The Compliance Administrator provides support and integrity to various Company programs within the Legal & Compliance Department and reports directly to the Corporate Counsel. 

In addition to a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $60,000 - dependent on experience - this position is eligible for an annual performance-based bonus, full medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage, 401k plan with company match, generous PTO allowance and more!

The qualified candidate will be responsible for the following:

Review background screening for new hires and rehires.Review compliance onboarding documents; complete data entry for payroll deductions, and compliance tracker entries.Compiles, formats, and prepares reports in Microsoft Excel.Perform accurate and timely roster reporting weekly, monthly, and quarterly for new hires and terminations applicable to state/local agencies through Microsoft Excel. Review security officer regulatory licensing programs for all states in which the Company is licensed, including processing and submission of new hire and renewal registration paperwork to the appropriate state/local agency.Manage OSHA recordkeeping/reporting.Manage compliance portals.Assist with workplace injury/illness and vehicle accident reporting and initial correspondence with claims adjusters.Receive confidential records; reviews records for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with regulations.Distribution of security guard cards, as well as entering card information in compliance tracker. Store documentation in our company HRIS.Participate/Lead monthly checkup calls with the states you have been assigned to manage. You will be expected to be the main point of your contact for compliance-related matters in 10+ states.Assist with process improvements/implementation; assist on a voluntary basis, with new account start-ups.Provide general support to the Legal & Compliance team and other administrative duties.Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested by management.Will have the opportunity to attend semi-annual risk control workshops.

 Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in management or a related field is highly preferredProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook. Advanced proficiency with Excel preferred.  Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
