The Compliance Advisor will be instrumental in supporting the execution of the Fair and Responsible Banking program with a strong focus on Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) and Fair Lending expertise. This role involves monitoring compliance with key Fair and Responsible Banking regulations including CRA, Fair Lending, Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA), Service Member Civil Relief Act (SCRA) and Military Lending Act (MLA).

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Perform various fair lending and CRA monitoring on a quarterly and annual basis including data analysis of mortgage, consumer, small business and/or commercial loans to identify significant variances to fair lending compliance regulations and standardsConduct in-depth analysis and generate compliance related reports for banks’ lending portfoliosMaintain proficiency in CRA and Fair Lending WIZ or other lending analysis toolsManage the annual submission of HMDA and CRA Loan Application Registers (LAR).Conduct periodic data integrity checks and manage large data setsStay abreast of relevant fair and responsible banking laws and regulations and industry trends.Provide guidance to Business Units on regulatory interpretation of Fair and Responsible Banking regulations and advise on necessary actions to ensure compliance.Assist in the creation and maintenance of compliance policies and procedures ensuring alignment with current regulations and effective communication across the organizationAssist management with key decisions by analyzing relevant data and providing insightful inputManage the reporting of program status and analytical results using Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint to create dashboards and effectively communicate findingsProvide Fair and Responsible Banking program information for presentations to senior management and various oversight committees, including the board of directors.Perform other duties as assigned or requested

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Five to seven years’ experience in compliance with a focus on CRA and Fair Lending expertiseStrong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools such as CRA and Fair Lending WizExcellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to work independently and as a part of a teamExcellent written and verbal communication skillsEffective interpersonal skillsProficiency in multi-tasking and prioritizing projectsExcellent time management skills and accustomed to working with deadlinesCRCM designation preferred

WORKING CONDITIONSMonday- Friday ( Full-Time)Work in office three days per week and 2 days remote
