Provide outstanding customer service to guests and all other employees by exceeding our mission statement. Assist team related to TCC regulations and other compliance related projects. Maintain accurate and specific status reports within various databases systems. Routinely conducting inspection activity and resolving issues encountered. Possesses understanding of California's cannabis laws to conducts internal audits, inspections, and compliance resolutions. Provide necessary assistance for license applications, Standard Operating Procedures, and policies. Stay updated on changes in California’s cannabis laws and regulations, and ensure policies and procedures are adjusted accordingly. Holds problem solving abilities to apply standard procedures, modifications of standard procedures, and/or using methods developed in previous assignments. Regularly audit work completed by grow and fulfillment teams including inventory, both during tasks and after, highlighting gaps in processes or final work as identified. Work with outside vendors to coordinate the creation of systems to support TCC regulations. Identify trends in data produced by lines of business. Conduct compliance risk assessment of new products of initiatives and advise business of compliance risk(s). Possesses extensive knowledge and experience in California state license applications and renewals. Assists management team establish policies, procedures, and practices. Helps compliance team with communication to outside vendors as it relates to compliance. Must be able to report all changes and updates to California's cannabis laws. Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures. Must be able to communicate and work with law enforcement. Ensure compliance with all Minimum Internal Control Standards (MICS) as well as all Tribal Internal Control Standards (TICS). Present a positive image of the Tribal organization to its guests and vendors and to assist them as required. Must follow all safety policies and procedures and attend all scheduled safety meetings and training as a condition of employment. Perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time. Education And Experience (Must Be Documented) High School Degree (or GED). Associate's degree or relevant certification preferred. Proven experience as an compliance advisor or in a similar role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. Strong problem-solving skills. Discretion and integrity when handling confidential information. Certification, Licenses And Any Additional Requirements Must pass periodic random drug screens. Must be able to pass background suitability investigation. Must obtain all other applicable certifications and licenses. Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States within 72 hours of employment. Multiple locations. Some enterprises are open 24 hours per day, 7 days per week; therefore, you must be flexible to work any and all hours. Must be available for emergency calls 24/7. Must be available to work weekend and holidays. Some enterprises are gaming facilities. Some enterprises are not a smoke-free environment. Surveillance cameras and audio equipment monitor the premises recording activity throughout most of the facilities on 24 hours per day, 7 days per week basis.
