Compliance Analyst
Responsibilities Related Affordable has an exciting opportunity for a hard-working, dynamic Compliance Analyst within our Affordable Housing portfolio. The ideal candidate would be a detail oriented individual accustomed to working on a deadline driven schedule. This position will work remotely and will report to the Senior Director of Compliance. This person must have the ability to function autonomously while also working in conjunction with coworkers located in other areas of the country. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Stay abreast of changes/pending changes in income limits across the affordable housing programs Update Bands of Affordability accurately and timely Distribute appropriate notification to Affordable Program teams and Site Staff of changes in rent schedules, income limits, and utility allowances Ensure the accuracy of income limits and rent schedules Facilitate quarterly reporting of compliance KPIs to the Senior Director of Compliance Process compliance invoices for audits and special projects Track reporting requirements across the portfolio Prepare required monthly, quarterly, and annual agency reports and any related tenant event uploads for timely and accurate submission Collaborate with the compliance and operations teams to correct any annual reporting as needed Escalate potential compliance risks to the Senior Director of Compliance Track the marketing efforts of sites required for annual reporting Maintain compliance file on Smartsheets as assigned Enroll staff in compliance programs as needed Special projects and tasks as assigned COMPENSATION RANGE $60K - $75K per year Plus annual performance bonus Compensation for this position is dependent on a variety of factors, including individual qualifications and geographical location. The range provided is intended to offer a general guideline and may vary based on these factors. Final compensation offers will be determined based on a comprehensive assessment of the candidate's background and the specific requirements of the role. Qualifications WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR 3+ years affordable housing experience preferred Knowledge of HUD Section 8 and LIHTC programs and certification processing; knowledge and experience with affordable housing annual reporting requirements preferred Strong data management skills with significant attention to detail Strong knowledge of all Microsoft Office required Working knowledge of RealPage OneSite desired Proven ability to build trust with members of a community with different backgrounds, motivations, and concerns in order to obtain information and solve problems A BIT ABOUT US Related Affordable is driven by the belief that everyone deserves a quality home and works hard to deliver that for communities across the country.
