Position Summary:
The primary role of this position is to assist the Senior Manager-Contracts and Compliance with the administration of manufacturing sites’ export and import controls program, including operational processes, import/export documentation, internal audits, and government reporting procedures to ensure continuous compliance with laws governing international trade. These laws include CBP, U.S. Census, Export Administration Regulations (“EAR”), Free Trade Agreements (“FTA”), HTS Classification, Anti-dumping (ADD) and Countervailing (CVD) rules, Section 301 Chinese Tariffs, Government Audits, Country of Origin documentation, Valuation and Assists, Anti-boycott regulations, Third Party Vetting and Diligence, restricted party screening, and Recordkeeping.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Participate and help execute the day-to-day activities relating to the export and import processes for the manufacturing sites to assure compliance, accuracy, and proper documentation.
· Prepare and process export documentation and import documentation and declarations.
· Interface with relevant functions for accurate HTS, COO, and ECCN classification.
· Follow Know Your Customer (“KYC”) processes and ensure diligence is properly maintained
· Conduct internal audit processes for trade compliance.
· Interface with government authorities as necessary (e.g. BIS and CBP).
· Assist in the vetting of third parties (business partners and vendors).
· Manage and oversee Customs Broker activities ensuring timely, accurate import clearances.
· Review and audit import and export declarations to ensure compliance with CBP, Census, and other government regulations leveraging ACE and other reports.
• Assists in the maintenance of appropriate recordkeeping and due diligence in accordance with Dover/PSG Records Retention Policy.
• Other assignments as assigned.
Required Qualification:
· B.A. or B.S. 4-year degree from an accredited university in logistics, supply chain or international business and/or related job experience.
· Knowledge of EAR, FTR, FTA, CBP, BIS, OFAC, HTS, COO, and ECCNs
· Knowledgeable in global trade, international shipping (export documentation and incoterms), and customs (import documentation) procedures.
· Demonstrated experience with import compliance and HTS classification.
· System experience with ACE and ACE reporting.
· Experience and knowledge with filing Export Declarations/Electronic Export Information (EEI)
· Proficient using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Outlook.

Salary Range : $55,000.00 - $64,500.00
