Compliance Analyst
Job Title: Employment Screening Compliance Analyst
Job Description

As an Employment Screening Compliance Analyst, you will proactively track new labor and employment laws and regulations at the federal, state, and local levels. Key areas of focus include employment agreements/contracts, fair labor standards, employment screening, federal reporting, compliance, leave, employment policies and practices, pay transparency, salary history and minimum salary requirements, and regulatory training. You will interpret and assess the impact of these laws and regulations on our Operating Companies, consulting with counsel as needed. Additionally, you will provide updates and summaries to Enterprise Regulatory Compliance and stakeholders, support California Pay Data Reporting and Illinois Equal Pay Reporting, manage the compliance poster program, and present issues with recommended actions, escalating incidents of non-compliance to the Compliance Manager as necessary.

ResponsibilitiesTrack new labor and employment laws and regulations at federal, state, and local levels.Focus on employment agreements/contracts, fair labor standards, employment screening, federal reporting, compliance, leave, employment policies and practices, pay transparency, salary history and minimum salary requirements, and regulatory training.Interpret and apply laws and regulations to various lines of business and assess their impact.Consult with counsel as needed.Provide updates and summaries regarding laws and regulations to Enterprise Regulatory Compliance and stakeholders.Support California Pay Data Reporting and Illinois Equal Pay Reporting.Manage compliance poster program.Present issues, formulate recommended actions, and escalate incidents of non-compliance to the Compliance Manager as necessary.Essential SkillsKnowledge of employment law, employment compliance, employee relations, and labor law.Experience with risk management and compliance.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including V Lookups and data entry.2-3 years of employee relations/analyst experience.Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Business Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field.Working knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and regulations.Additional Skills & QualificationsKnowledge of U.S. employment/labor law and related practices, including the lifecycle of an employee: hiring/selection, onboarding, employment screening, wage & hour, offboarding/separation, and other significant employment practices.Work Environment

The position requires working in the office for 4 days a week and offers 1 remote day, which can be chosen and changed week to week if necessary.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.48 - $37.02/hr.
