Compliance Analyst
Description A leading Workforce Management Software Company based in San Francisco, CA, is seeking a Senior EDD Analyst to join their compliance team on a fully remote, open-ended contract basis. This role requires a highly experienced compliance professional who can operate autonomously, conducting in-depth Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) reviews and assisting in the development and refinement of compliance procedures. Key Responsibilities: + Conduct comprehensive Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) reviews for high-risk customers, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. + Draft detailed EDD reports summarizing findings, risk assessments, and recommendations. + Assist in the development, refinement, and implementation of EDD procedures to strengthen the organization’s compliance framework. + Identify potential risks and red flags associated with high-risk entities, utilizing internal and external data sources. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, risk, and compliance, to ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory standards. + Stay current with evolving AML, KYC, and financial crime regulations, ensuring best practices are integrated into compliance processes. Requirements Qualifications: + Senior-level experience in Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), AML, KYC, or financial crime compliance. + Demonstrated ability to work independently and autonomously in a fast-paced, remote environment. + Strong experience in drafting detailed EDD reviews and risk assessments. + Knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks (e.g., BSA/AML, USA PATRIOT Act, FinCEN, OFAC, FATF guidelines). + Strong analytical, research, and investigative skills, with attention to detail in identifying risks. + Experience working in compliance roles within fintech, banking, financial services, or related industries is highly preferred. + Proficiency in using compliance and risk management tools/software is a plus.
