Job Description:

GDIT is searching for individuals to support the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ (CMS) mission to detect and combat fraud, waste, and abuse of the Medicare and Medicaid programs. GDIT works with CPI to ensure CMS is paying the right provider the right amount for services covered. Our work focuses on protecting patients while also minimizing unnecessary burden on providers. Through research, investigation and data analysis, the desired outcomes of our efforts are to prevent, detect, and resolve noncompliance with Medicare rules, requirements, and law and recommend administrative action to CMS.

At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Customer Service Representative III you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on Customer Service Representative III joining our team to:

Conducting compliance calls with Medicare providers for whom an ownership discrepancy has been identified in accordance with established protocols

Recording/documenting outcomes of calls/communication with the entity in ServiceNow

Tracking outcomes in ServiceNow, utilizing dashboarding and reports/filters

Coordinating with management to support and assist with ongoing improvement activities

Other tasks as assigned


Required Skills:

High School Diploma/GED and at least 3 years of related experience

Experience using computers including Microsoft Office-Word, Excel & SharePoint

Competence in using various communication platforms (such as email, team chats) to manage and respond to inquiries effectively

Must have the ability to function in a remote work environment with secure/reliable internet access

Desired Skills:

Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid provider enrollment

Knowledge of Provider Enrollment, Chain, and Ownership System (PECOS)

Highly organized, ability to multi-task and meet deadlines

Problem solving skills

Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $16.56 - $27.66. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
