Compliance Associate - Trading
Overview

SIG has a job opening for a Compliance Analyst to join our Compliance team in support of our Equity, Options, Futures and Fixed Income Trading desks in our Bala Cynwyd office.  In this role, you will be focused on support of trading activity from the point trades are executed through post trade surveillance analysis to verify that the firm is meeting all of its regulatory requirements. You will gain broad exposure to trade reporting and compliance responsibilities across the various trading desks including OATS and ACT reporting, limit order display and protection, best execution and front running reconciliations.  Additionally, you will help identify, track and monitor regulatory developments and analyze the business impact to enhance or create new policies and procedures through collaboration with team members and our technology team. In carrying out these responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to interact daily with traders, peers, clients and external industry professionals as you work to support any regulatory examinations or audits that occur.

What we're looking for

 

Qualifications:

 

Bachelors degree required; specialization in finance or a related discipline preferredPrior professional, co-op and/or internship experience in finance or a related field required; prior experience with equities, fixed income or futures trade support role a plusPossession of Series 7 & 24  licenses, or the ability to obtain licenses within six - twelve months of hire, requiredDemonstrated and strong experience with Word and Excel required; Access preferredExperience with Fidessa, BRASS, Nasdaq ACT workstation or other trading programs, a plus
