The American Heart Association has an excellent opportunity for a **Compliance Audit and Program Manager** supporting our National Center office that is located in Dallas, TX. This role can be home based. The **Compliance Audit and Program Manager** ensures clinical data quality, program compliance, and operational integrity for the American Heart Association (AHA). Reporting to the Senior Manager, Registry Research, this role oversees audits, fosters relationships with program sites, recruits participants, and integrates advanced technologies like AI to enhance processes. Key responsibilities include managing business agreements, ensuring legal compliance, and supporting quality improvement initiatives. The manager also collaborates with volunteers and staff to achieve health, revenue, and volunteerism goals, continuously innovating and aligning efforts with the organization’s mission. Be Valued™ at the American Heart Association by following us on LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), and at heart.jobs. **Responsibilities** + Plan, coordinate, and execute clinical data quality audits to ensure the integrity and credibility of the organization’s programs and public representations. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including the Quality Senior Team, Internal Audit, and Legal, to address compliance issues and implement effective controls. + Manage and cultivate relationships with program sites through account management activities, recruitment of new sites, and support for quality improvement initiatives. + Drive innovation by integrating advanced technologies, such as artificial intelligence, to optimize data processes, improve outcomes, and enhance program efficiency. + Oversee and ensure compliance with business agreements involving hospitals and business partners, adhering to legal and operational standards. + Build and maintain meaningful volunteer partnerships, providing direction, recognition, and resources to leverage their expertise in achieving organizational objectives. + Foster collaboration between volunteers and staff to align efforts toward health, revenue, and volunteerism goals. + Design and implement innovative, impactful programs, continuously evaluating and improving performance to meet the organization’s mission and strategic objectives. + Represent the organization’s in program site engagement by serving as a key contact, addressing program needs, and maintaining the credibility of organizational initiatives. + Support the mission of the organization’s by advancing compliance, data quality, and program success through collaborative and proactive management strategies. **Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience + 3 years of related experience with clinical setting or clinical trials or utilization reviews + Knowledge of laws and regulations i.e. HIPPA, PHI + Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with healthcare professional + Strong Microsoft Office proficiency + Strong Project Management experience + Strong interpersonal/relationship building skills + Ability to travel 10% of the time per year **Preferred Qualifications:** + Expertise in compliance, data quality auditing, and program management (Health IT data audit) + Experience in account management and building long-term partnerships with diverse stakeholders. + Knowledge of internal controls, risk assessment, and compliance oversight in healthcare or nonprofit sectors + Registered (RN) and/or Certification in Healthcare Research Compliance and/or Certified Professional Coder - Hospital (CPC-H) **Compensation & Benefits** The expected pay range will be $75,000 to $95,000. Pay is commensurate with experience; geographic differentials to the pay range may apply. The American Heart Association reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range.
