Compliance Business Analyst

Our client in the financial industry is seeking a Compliance Business Analyst to join their team. As a Compliance Business Analyst, you will be part of the Risk Management department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, expertise in risk ratings, and experience with compliance processes including remediation.
**Job Title:** Compliance Business Analyst
**Location:** Fully Remote - working primarily PST hours
**What's the Job?**
+ Monitor and update risk ratings based on evolving business factors or regulatory changes.
+ Ensure accuracy and consistency in risk assessments and documentation.
+ Prepare detailed reports on risk rating trends, summaries, and insights for senior management.
+ Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, anomalies, and key risk indicators.
+ Develop and manage dashboards in Power BI to visualize risk-related data.
**What's Needed?**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, Data Analytics, or a related field.
+ 3–5 years of experience in risk management, compliance, or business analysis.
+ Proven experience with risk rating frameworks and regulatory compliance processes.
+ Hands-on expertise with PowerPoint, Excel (including pivot tables, macros, and advanced formulas), and Power BI.
+ Proficiency in data visualization and dashboard design using Power BI.
