Compliance Coordinator
In this role, you will be a supporting member of the Employee Relations/Compliance Team, partnering with the team members to provide administrative support. As a Compliance Coordinator, you are joining a team where growth, teamwork, meticulous attention to detail, and compliance are at its core. In this role, you will engage with all members of the employee relations/compliance team, provide exceptional administrative support, and contribute to the success of the team by assisting with the adherence to all relevant laws, regulations and company policies. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in compliance and a willingness to learn and grow within the field. As well as have the ability to approach business situations using credibility to influence desired outcomes.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:                                        

Administrative support: Support and provide the Employee Relations/Compliance Team with various administrative tasks as needed.  Maintain an annual compliance event calendar by month.  Maintain catalog policy repository globally and contact list by location.Organize and Maintain: Assist in organizing and maintaining compliance related documentation and files (e.g., updated policies, updated procedures, case notes, etc.) within our case management system, employee handbook and online employee intranet services. Document retrieval and gathering: Be a central team member to compile all pertinent documents regarding global compliance policies. This will include documents and data needed for the European Sustainability Reporting Standards- ESRS) and legal case document requirements for pending litigation.  Assist in cataloging all international policies by country and maintain master files.Trend analysis: Assist in the review of Employee Relations trend reporting to ensure compliance and recognize and share with the Employee Relations/Compliance Team any need for additional training or tool creation.Monitor deadlines: Support the team in tracking deadlines for regulatory filings, law changes and document submissions.  Assist in escalating past due pending employee relations cases.Coordinate Program Training: Assist in coordinating compliance training logistics (i.e., Anti-Harassment Training, Workplace Violence Prevention Training, Case Management Usage Training).Partnerships: Work in collaboration with the Employee Relations/Compliance partners on new initiatives that are created by the department.  Respond to basic compliance related inquiries and direct complex questions to the appropriate team members.Information distribution: Assist in preparing and distributing compliance communications to employees.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge and understanding of basic labor laws, compliance terminology, and conceptsExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsGood analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive informationGood time management skills and ability to prioritize tasksPrevious experience within the HR compliance and employee relations spaceAbility to work independently or collaboratively as part of the teamExperience with scheduling and calendar managementWillingness to learn and adapt to new compliance requirements and technologies

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience3-5 years of relevant experience in HR Compliance, Employment Law, or a related field3-5 years of administrative experience with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

$80k-$100k/Annually
