Position Summary
The Compliance and Education Coordinator will provide an array of support to both Operations and Compliance on a number of critical tasks. The incumbent will need to be highly versatile and flexible as the needs of the business can change spanning the Northeast territory.
Duties and Responsibilities
The duties include, but are not limited to:
Manage ProSmile University (our continuing education platform) with specific emphasis on tracking Continuing Education (CE) credits for current and prospective providers, communicating to the providers of upcoming events, as well organization of events and managing vendor relations.
Coordinate events, including venue, location, etc. for CE events in the region and manage vendor relations and attend events as applicable.
Track and record all required compliance training for all staff including but not limited to OSHA, HIPPA, and Bloodborne Pathogens to ensure each provider is within required standards.
Track and manage office level compliance related to state inspections, insurance inspections, OSHA and HIPPA compliance and documentation and organization.
Track and report on required certifications and licensures for all providers.
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
Associates Degree preferred
MS Office Suite proficient (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
Travel is TBD as needed and can vary during the year with events.
Knowledge and Skills/Expected Competencies
Knowledge of Event Planning and Vendor Management
Knowledge of Workman’s Comp and compliance initiatives
Ability to travel on an as needed basis throughout NJ, NY & PA.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to clearly communicate with vendors, event staff, and providers to create a successful and positive experience for current and prospective providers.
Excellent organization, prioritization, follow up, analytical and time management skills with ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
2-4 years experience with preference for Dental / DSO organizations.
