Compliance Engineer

Job Overview:

We are building on our position as the innovation leader in appliances to deliver the next generation of Keurig® machines to our consumers and customers. As part of our Appliance Global Product Organization, you will be at the heart of all matters concerning electrical hardware and integration.

As a Compliance Engineer, you will be involved in all phases of the brewer engine design, from sustaining existing designs to helping develop innovative designs for future products. Your day-to-day activities will be diverse, often including projects such as paper and lab analysis of existing designs, customer return analysis, along with lab verification and validation of new designs. You will also assist with testing for safety and regulatory compliance.

Job responsibilities

Coordinating and performing qualification tests to ensure compliance with electrical, regulatory (EMI, UL etc.), thermal, mechanical and environmental requirements.Conduct root cause investigations of brewer issues and verify corrective actions. Conduct Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) for modules and components.Contribute to the product roadmap by evaluating new concepts and conduct feasibility of proposed approaches.Participate in design reviews, project meetings and time/cost budgeting events, failure analysis and fault remediation.Perform detailed technical analysis and work with interdisciplinary teams to bridge technology gap between theory and implementable hardware, develop test & methodology specifications.Establish performance metrics and requirements through careful use of theory, models and experiments across devices, circuits, and human perception.Meeting project schedules, deadlines and budgets.

Requirements:
BE in Electrical Engineering + 5 years of relevant industry experience OR MS in Electrical Engineering + 3 years of relevant industry experience.Sound knowledge and design experience with electrical circuits, design for manufacturability and reliability.Sound knowledge and experience with UL & FCC regulatory requirements. Creative and self-driven with strong analytical skills. Hands-on and results-oriented individual contributor committed to team success and willing to do both simple and complicated tasks to move the project forward. Ability to collaborate effectively with all personnel and levels, including management, engineers, technicians, and temporary employees.NRTL experience is a nice-to-have
