Job Title: Compliance Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Engineer to join our team. You will work closely with third-party vendors and managers to devise EMC and EMI testing to comply with various standards such as UL, IEC, and GSA regulations. This role involves creating tests, interpreting and analyzing code related to lighting products, and assisting suppliers in understanding product lines for testing. Additionally, you will lead compliance testing efforts.

ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with third-party vendors and managers to devise EMC and EMI testing to comply with standards such as UL, IEC, and GSA regulations.Create tests for test engineers to perform based on standards.Work with various third-party engineers to understand compliance standards.Interpret and analyze code in relation to lighting products.Assist suppliers in understanding product lines to create testing protocols.Lead compliance testing efforts.Essential SkillsBachelor of Science in Engineering (EE/Electronics preferred).5+ years’ experience as a Regulatory/ Compliance Engineer for electrical/electronics products (open to 3+).Prior experience working with third-party agencies for domestic and international certifications required.EMC/EMI testing experience.Experience with UL standards (ideal if familiar with FCC/CSA/IEC).Additional Skills & QualificationsCompliance engineering.Regulatory compliance.Electrical engineering.Risk management.Vendor management.Compliance management.Compliance regulations.Work Environment

This role will be based in both an office and testing lab environment, working and collaborating with teams worldwide. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $125000.00/yr.
