As a Compliance Intern at Cencora, you’ll be provided the opportunity to leverage your academic understanding in a real-world, business driven environment. Ultimately, we aim to develop the future Compliance leaders necessary to enable our growth within an accelerated period of time. During our 10-week summer program, you will work closely with a mentor while gaining experience leading projects and learning about the regulatory environment Cencora operates in, different business areas and functions within our company. At the end of the summer, our interns report out to their Leadership Team on key accomplishments and learnings from their internship experience. Interns are expected to be onsite at our headquarter in Conshohocken 9 AM - 5 PM EST.
 

Below are some of the activities in which you can expect to participate.

Responsibilities:

Gain understanding of seven elements of an effective compliance program, including: policies, training, communications, investigations, monitoring, etc.Receive opportunities to build affiliation with team members, Office of Compliance and Legal team members, and interact with senior leadershipAssist in the analysis of mandatory compliance training dataReport findings to other team members and management as requiredAssist in the creation of compliance trainings and/or communicationsWork on projects and manage time and effort without need for constant supervisionOrganize and facilitate work team meetings (examples: A Break to Educate, feedback sessions on projects, etc.)Actively participate in internship program training activities, developmental opportunities, and eventsDevelop interpersonal and communication skills to successfully lead a projectDemonstrate willingness to learn and take risks; step out of comfort zone and take on new assignmentsGain understanding of all business areas to develop business acumenFoster an inclusive, diverse, safe, and secure cultureCarry out duties and responsibilities by department through internship rotations as trained

Requirements:

Pursuing a Bachelors degree in: Business, public health, health policy, or law (other related majors will be considered)Legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship now or in the future is required
