The position: NEED INFO

Responsibilities Optimize the use of personnel resources by hiring, training, empowering, and motivating department team membersAs needed, complete online file reviews and approvals, and bonus file reviewsExcellent communication skills, with in-depth knowledge of the latest industry procedures and regulationsAssist with the development of internal affordable housing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all HUD Multifamily, LIHTC, and various other programs’ regulatory requirementsEnsure company policies and procedures are implemented on all properties within the portfolio and are being followed consistentlyAssist with the development of a training program for onsite personnel for all department-related programs and procedures.Provide Compliance and On-Site Teams with updates pertaining to program regulationsAffirmative Fair Housing Marketing Plans are updated every five years, or as neededHandle MOR and state audit preparation, including responding timely and accurately to avoid an uncorrected 8823; utilize audit results as a training tool to avoid similar findings of non-complianceConduct periodic internal reviews or audits to ensure that compliance procedures are followedVerify that any software technology in place adequately provides oversight and monitoring in all required areasEnsure Max Rents, Utility Allowances, and Income Limits are reviewed/changed timely as per program requirements. Identify compliance risks and recommend changes to Vice PresidentEnsure accurate completion of Annual/Quarterly Reports for City/State Supervisory Agencies and Tax Credit Syndicators as requiredEnsure timely completion of lender related compliance reportingCoordinate with Regional Managers to review property compliance policies, and discuss property performanceLead employee training sessions on compliance issuesSupervision of Compliance AssociatesConfirm that an organized system of maintaining “first-year” files is in place if applicable Qualifications Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a compliance monitoring position, or similar job experience.Must have at least 2 affordable housing designations, such as HCCP, COS, CPO, NCP, BOS, TCS, etc.Ideal candidate will have 5 years of property management experienceOnesite and Yardi experience preferred
