We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Compliance Officer in Nashua, New Hampshire. In this role, you will primarily focus on overseeing the implementation of civil rights requirements in line with Federal, State, and local regulations. This position is integral to ensuring a non-discriminatory environment for all individuals, regardless of sex, race, creed, religion, color, national origin, experienced or military status, sexual orientation, gender expression or identity, or disability. Role: Compliance Coordinator
Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 + great benefits!
Hours: 8:00am - 3:30pm
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the implementation of civil rights requirements at a high level.
• Develop strategies to prevent discriminatory practices and harassment.
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and local civil rights regulations.
• Act as the primary point of contact for Title IX coordination within the company.
• Implement measures to prevent discrimination on various grounds including sex, race, creed, religion, color, national origin, experienced or military status, sexual orientation, gender expression or identity, or disability.
• Monitor and assess the effectiveness of implemented strategies and make necessary adjustments.
• Handle inquiries and complaints related to civil rights and discrimination.
• Maintain comprehensive records of all activities related to civil rights compliance.
• Continuously update knowledge and understanding of civil rights and discrimination laws.
Requirements
Requirements:
+ Bachelor’s degree in human resources, legal studies, or related field required (Masters or JD is a plus).
+ Minimum of 3 years’ experience in compliance, human resources, legal affairs, or related field required
+ In-depth knowledge of civil rights laws and regulations at the Federal, State, and local level required.
+ Experience working with Title IX required (even if it's a college class or having a high knowledge of it).
+ Experience working in civil rights advocacy or related field preferred.
+ Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
+ Ability to muti task in a fast-paced environment preferred.
