Compliance Officer - Regulatory Intelligence

The Compliance Officer – Regulatory Intelligence will be the Team Lead for the Regulatory Intelligence Compliance team.  The team is responsible for researching, identifying, summarizing, and consulting on current and emerging legal and regulatory compliance requirements as they relate to products and services offered by Key.  This position is responsible for oversight of both day-to-day routines carried out by the team as well as implementation of strategic changes to continually enhance and improve Key’s regulatory change management program as well as the overall library of regulations and laws applicable to Key.

Essential Functions:

Develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with business and risk partners.

Provide oversight of the regulatory change management program and processes.

Review AI summaries of regulatory changes for accuracy and completeness.

Maintain inventory of procedures specific to activities carried out by the team.

Ensure remediation plans are implemented timely.

Maintain Key’s library of applicable requirements.

Produce timely and accurate management and committee reporting.

Implement and operationalize changes to transform and modernize the program.

Coordinate with established vendor(s) to refine the scope of regulatory change alerts

Contribute to plans to elevate and bring visibility to the function.

Have a continuous improvement mindset.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree required; Juris Doctor or CRCM preferred.

Ability to comprehend and interpret laws and regulations.

2+ years of experience as a financial services compliance professional, bank regulator or other comparable legal or audit experience.

Strong relationship management and leadership skills.

Basic project management skills.

Proven ability to work in a team environment.

Sound decision-making skills; able to make decisions independently and quickly.

Solid written and oral communication skills.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $90,000 to $110,000 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
