*D.R. Horton, Inc.*is currently looking for a*_Compliance Officer-Title_*. The right candidate will serve as a resource to all employees regarding the interpretation and implementation of company policies and procedures written to comply with federal, state and ALTA Best Practices and Title Insurance Underwriter requirements.
*Essential Duties and Responsibilities*include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
* Supervise personnel and manage day-to-day operations of the department
* Monitor rules and regulations set by federal, state and ALTA Best Practices
* Oversee and facilitate DHIT External Audit/Investigations with Federal, State, Agency, and Underwriter entities and respond to deficiencies and violations accordingly
* Research and answer questions concerning title issues
* Review, Edit and Create DHIT Escrow Policies
* Review Escrow Files for compliance with corporate, state and federal rules and regulations
* Review and approve all documents, rate tables and marketing materials for expansion into new markets
* Review and approve Information Security Program
* Manage all applicable licensing requirements (including CE) for DHIT, including but not limited to Escrow Officers, Agents, Branch Managers and Branches
* Oversee and facilitate DHIT External Audit/Investigations with Federal, State, Agency, and Underwriter entities
* Special projects as needed
* Serve on corporate committees as assigned
* Conducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company
* Ability to travel overnight

* Supervises 2 or more employees

*Education and/or Experience*
* Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
* Five years of escrow/title agency experience
* Must have a vehicle and a valid driver’s license
* Proficiency with DHIT systems including Outlook and Softpro
* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applications
* Proficiency with MS Office and email
* Ability to sit for the majority of 8-hour workday; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and peripheral vision
* The noise level is generally moderate
