The right candidate will serve as a resource to all employees regarding the interpretation and implementation of company policies and procedures written to comply with federal, state and ALTA Best Practices and Title Insurance Underwriter requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Supervise personnel and manage day-to-day operations of the departmentMonitor rules and regulations set by federal, state and ALTA Best PracticesOversee and facilitate DHIT External Audit/Investigations with Federal, State, Agency, and Underwriter entities and respond to deficiencies and violations accordinglyResearch and answer questions concerning title issuesReview, Edit and Create DHIT Escrow PoliciesReview Escrow Files for compliance with corporate, state and federal rules and regulationsReview and approve all documents, rate tables and marketing materials for expansion into new marketsReview and approve Information Security ProgramManage all applicable licensing requirements (including CE) for DHIT, including but not limited to Escrow Officers, Agents, Branch Managers and BranchesOversee and facilitate DHIT External Audit/Investigations with Federal, State, Agency, and Underwriter entitiesSpecial projects as neededServe on corporate committees as assigned Conducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the companyAbility to travel overnightSupervisory Responsibilities
