Compliance - Risk Management & Compliance Governance Lead-Vice President

As a Governance Lead Vice President  in Risk Management and Compliance, you will perform oversight activities related to CCOR challenge of Compliance, Conduct and Operational Risk (CCOR) Assessments and other strategic initiatives. The Second Line of Defense Challenge is a foundational element of the CCOR Framework, which independently oversees, measures, assesses and reports material risks using a consistent approach and methodology.

You will be responsible for working closely with the Line of Business and Corporate Function teams globally in the first line of defense and second line of defense to oversee the consistent and ongoing execution of the CCOR challenge Framework for Risk Assessment and other strategic initiatives of the group. 

Job responsibilities

Building and managing the relationship with the CCOR leads globally responsible for performing the challenge of the assessment  Partnering with peers on the team, who are responsible for managing the Framework Understand changing environment and the needs of the second line of defense challengers and provide the thought leadership and work closely with peers to enhance the Framework, as needed. Implementing an effective process for senior management reporting and escalation of risk assessment results and challenges, including communicating and escalating issues/gaps that are highlighted during the process. Leading management of Audits and Regulatory Exams globally Manage Trainings and communication around the framework and key updates to the framework Lead efforts related to strategic priorities for the group working closely with teams across the first line of defense and CCOR.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Bachelors degree  6+ years relevant experience with solid experience working with Risk and Control frameworks Strategic and forward-looking mindset driven towards finding effective solution Strong analytical, organizational, time management, and planning skills are critical Excellent report/metrics skills  Superior oral/presentation and written communications skills Ability to handle a fast-paced, deliverable oriented environment Must be able to build and maintain relationships (internal & external) Self-directed, proactive, and creative: uses sound judgment and navigates ambiguity to get things done with limited direction, supervision, or resource

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Masters or equivalent graduate degree preferred Previous experience  working in Operational and Compliance risk is preferred Experience dealing with Technology projects and Agile is a plus
