Compliance Specialist

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform daily Title 31 audits of gaming and financial transactions to ensure compliance with both State and Federal Regulators. Maintenance of the property’s AML Title 31 training program for applicable employees. Responsible for filing CTRs and SARs with FinCEN and State Regulators where applicable. Responsible for performing the monthly know your customer (KYC) procedures Research suspicious activity and submit Suspicious Activity Incident Reports (SAIRs) to the AML Committee. Maintain an organized system of record keeping for all applicable reports and documents. Ability to prioritize projects, adhere to deadlines, work independently, and use critical thinking to analyze data. Prepare and issue Exception Notices for instances of noncompliance with Title 31 procedures. Assist the Senior Compliance Manager in reviewing and updating Internal Controls. Assist the Senior Compliance Manager during internal and external audits/exams. Perform compliance testing and reviews in accordance with NGCB requirements. Comfortable interacting with various levels of personnel including Senior Management. Periodically review the SOPs of various departments to ensure compliance with ICS. Ensure the property is in compliance with all aspects of Responsible Gaming. Performs related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

 

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma Prior Gaming Compliance preferred or 1+ year auditing, cage cashier or similar position in the casino industry.

 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Must be able to obtain a Nevada Gaming Registration.
