Purpose

Provide support to the M&A Team on acquisitions, the Sales Team on carrier setup, and Customer Service on complaints, and all departments regarding compliance issues. Monitor all communications from insurance companies and relay information to sales as necessary; Manage the the Confie Carrier Management system ensuring data integrity of commissions and agreements and maintaining the agreements

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Coordinate with the M&A team, sales leadership, and insurance companies to ensure all documentation needed for new agency appointments and notifications of change in ownership are submitted accurately and processed timely

Accurately track the progress of changes and requests and share with appropriate teams

Complete documents timely, request signatures from agency principals or executive leadership, update banking information

Maintain producer agreements and commission rates ensuring accurate information is entered and updated as necessary in the carrier management system

Assist with setting up new locations with all carriers, process requests to add new carriers, ensuring all information is gathered and communicated with sales leadership

Respond to the state governments on complaints, ensure all internal forms and disclosures are kept in compliance with state requirements

 

Qualifications and Education Requirements

High school diploma. Bachelor's degree preferred

2 - 4 years experience in auto/home insurance

Requires advanced knowledge of carrier/insurance operations

Knowledge in excel

 

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of insurance company requirements for appointing agencies or agency operations experience

Detail-oriented mindset, excellent organization skills, and ability to adhere to deadlines

Proven success working with various levels of management

Ability to coordinate, execute, and track projects with minimal oversight

Ability to evaluate situations, problem-solve, and overcome hurdles

Ability to multi-task

Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing. Excellent interpersonal skills, with an ability to communicate across departments

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members, peers, sales staff, and insurance company contact

Highly proficient in Excel, some knowledge of Smartsheet
