Job DescriptionThe position conducts nuclear security compliance oversight of specific assigned nuclear sites. Duties include compliance verifications, assessments of leadership and technical skills of contract security site management and trainers, design of related training (e.g., tactical complex, explosives, etc.), and training and compliance consulting to the utility itself (e.g., force-on-force assessments, planned response to adversary team assaults, etc.). Given the crucial importance of nuclear security to homeland defense, this position will have the authority and obligation to immediately remove contract security personnel who may be grossly negligent with regard to compliance issues.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalentCollege degree in education, business management, or security related fieldMust possess or have the ability to obtain a valid driver licenseAbility and willingness to attend various instructional certification coursesSpecific Experience:
3 years minimum experience working within the nuclear security community in a compliance role1 year minimum experience working as a nuclear security trainer in tacticsExperience in conducting protective strategy assessmentsProven experience in platform instructionProven experience implementing or managing a systematic approach to trainingProven ability to assess individual behavioral response to compliance issuesAbility to articulate compliance regulations specific to nuclear securityDemonstrated skills in the application of leadership traits & professionalismExcellent oral and written communication skillsDemonstrated ability to multi-taskProficient computer skills to include the use of Microsoft Office applicationsWillingness and ability to travel extensively and with very little noticeBENEFITS:
