Compliance/Sustainability Coordinator
ATLANTA AIRLINES TERMINAL COMPANY JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title: Compliance/Sustainability Coordinator Pay Grade: Grade 6 Salary: $60,588 Entry $75,600 Midpoint $90,612 Maximum Department: Procurement Reports to: Procurement Manager FLSA Status: Exempt Position Summary: The Compliance/Sustainability Coordinator Is responsible for performing those duties required to ensure AATC’s compliance with federal, state and local laws and regulations associated with the performance of its maintenance and operations services at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. Plan, promote and coordinate waste reduction and recycling programs to maximize waste diversion goals. Support initiatives in the areas of water, energy and procurement. Contract administration for assigned contracts with operational implications across the Central Passenger Terminal Complex such as waste removal, pest control, communication technology, exterior windows and pressure washing. Responsibilities/Duties: · Prepares and manages assigned regulatory documentation through proper record-keeping and the maintenance of databases of information. Interacts with responsible building maintenance provider or responsible supplier to obtain data. · Monitors, and as necessary coordinates, compliance activities of business partners to ensure contractual requirements are met. · Collaborates internally and with the Department of Aviation Environmental Division to meet or exceed federal and state regulations governed by Title V, Storm Water Pollution Prevention Program, Spill Prevention Plan, Clean Air Campaign and other conventions. · Provides support for waste removal and recycling programs. · Participates in the development of policies and procedures · Schedules services of contractors and/or approves schedule of services submitted by contractors. · Responds to special requests and requirements of individual airlines and other facility tenants in matters regarding applicable contractor services. · Create and implement an inventory management system to maintain necessary stock for day-to-day activities and properly manage flow of inventory from daily use and projects. · Assist with oversight and management of Attic Stock as well as working with inventory suppliers such as Grainger, Pollock and our project partners, for example. · Monitoring of the sanitary supply machines Success Characteristics: · Knowledge of facility operations. · Associate’s degree and 3+ years of experience working in an operations role or equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted. · Works with Safety Coordinator when needed and understands safety regulations and recognized safe work practices. · Computer proficiency with Microsoft tools – Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint. · Ability to work a flexible schedule in a team-based environment and provide on-premises support 24/7/365 and provide support during planned or emergency situations or events to include being physically on site if deemed necessary. · Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, verbal and presentation skills to successfully communicate a variety of responsibilities with accuracy. · High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency, accountability and results-orientation. · Outstanding project management skills with an ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workloads. · Act as an intuitive thinker, willing to take prudent and necessary risk to achieve balanced results (e.g., cost, people, service, quality) · Demonstrated maturity, credibility and self-confidence to function effectively in a demanding environment · Demonstrated commitment to data-driven decision making and the use of key performance indicators in the execution (development, analysis, corrective action, communication, and pursuit and provision of feedback) of tactical, operational, and strategic responsibilities. · Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills to manage complex tasks and those that require balancing competing interests. · Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects and ability to work collaboratively. Qualifications and Requirements: · Associate degree in a related field or any equivalent combination of training, education and experience which provides necessary knowledge, ability and skills to perform job functions · Must have a valid GA driver’s license and driving record void of recent major moving violations. · Must be able to pass requirements for approval for an ATL badge with customs seal. This includes a 10-year background search by fingerprint analysis. · Minimum of 5 years of experience with running a facility maintenance and/or janitorial organization in a leadership role. · Must have knowledge of facility maintenance systems at a high level and an overall understanding of supporting facilities with a large footprint and complex systems. · Advance skills in MS Office suite, including Excel and PowerPoint, and can clearly present and articulate ideas. Experience with Infor EAM is a plus. This position is located in Atlanta, GA.
